AKA and see "[[O'Shannahan's Rambles]]," "[[Shanahans' Rambles]]," "[[Woodcock (1) (The)]]" Irish, Double Jig (6/8 time). A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABC (Sweet): AABBCC (O'Neill). "How are You Kitty?" was printed by Irish-born violinist R.M. Levey in his second collection of Irish tunes (1873, No. 119) under the title "[[How are you now Kitty?]]." A untitled version of the jig was entered into Book 3 of the music manuscript collection of County Leitrim piper and fiddler [[biography:Stephen Grier]] (c. 1824-1894). Francis O'Neill gave his version the title "[[O'Shanahan's Rambles]]" in '''Dance Music of Ireland''' (1907), and Frank Roche printed it as "[[Shanahans' Rambles]]."
