COUNTRYSIDE POLKA. Canadian, Polka. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Nigel Gatherer believes that the polka is Scottish in origin, having been recorded in the 1930's by The Cameron Men, a family of fiddlers from the county of Angus. Alternate titles are "Angus Polka No. 1" from the Boys of the Lough, and "Cameron's Men's Polka No. 1" from Shetland fiddler Aly Bain.
