AA THE SHIPS ARE SAILING. Shetland, Shetland Reel. Shetland, Nesting.
According to Shetland fiddler, teacher and composer Tom Anderson, the reel was composed at the beginning of the 20th century; it depicts the herring fleet sailing out to the fishing grounds. It was collected in the Shetland village of Nesting.
