BUTTER'D BEANS. English, Country Dance Tune (2/4 time). G Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. In addition to Daniel Wright's 1740 volume of country dances (published in London by John Johnson), the tune appears in John Walsh's The Third Book of the Compleat Country Dancing-Master (London, 1735, p. 155, and in the 1749 edition, p. 153).
