DOMINION HORNPIPE. American, Hornpipe. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The melody was recorded in New York in 1922 for Victor Records by Texas fiddler Eck Robertson (1887-197?) in a medley with "General Logan" (backed with "Brilliancy" and "Cheatum") but the record was never issued. The session (in which ten selections were recorded) was one of the first recordings of old-time fiddlers.
