Source for notated version: Thomas Hoge MS., 1944, No. 11 [Bayard]. Hoge was an elderly fifer at the time Bayard collected this tune from him in 1944. He was one of the founding members of the Pittsburgh (Pa.) Pioneers Martial Band.
