GRANDMOTHER'S REEL. Canadian, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by John Durocher, a native of Sarnia, southwestern Ontario, and considered one of Canada's best fiddle-composers of the 20th century. The first strin is similar to that of "Reel des Esquimaux (2)/Eskimo Reel," but perhaps not cognate.
