HICKMAN COUNTY. AKA - "Hoedown in Hickman County." Bluegrass, Breakdown. USA. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Composed by bluegrass fiddler Paul Warren (1918-1978), born and raised in Hickman County, Tennessee. He won renown through his long, fifteen year association with Flatt and Scruggs, but never recorded a solo album.
