HUMOURS OF TOOMAGH [1], THE. AKA and see "Cloon (The)," "Humours of Thuama." Irish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Breathnach (CRÉ III) prints the tune as "Cloon (The)." Mike Rafferty called the tune "Falling off a Cliff," as he had it with no name from Jack Coen, and his (accordion-playing) daughter Mary said that was what it sounded like (Harker, 2005).
Sources for notated versions: flute player Cathal McConnell (County Fermanagh) [Bulmer & Sharpley]; Bronx flute player Jack Coen (originally from east Galway), via New Jersey flute player Mike Rafferty, born in Ballinakill, Co. Galway, in 1926 [Harker].
