The tune has been in the repertory of the Shetland Fiddle Band, and is a widely known reel in the Shetlands. It is a version of "Fairy Reel (2) (The)" or "Ferry Reel (Da) from Cullivoe. "Ferrie Reel" is also the name of a different version.
