LOUGHS OF CAVAN, THE. Irish, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). One part. Lough Sheelan and other lakes are located in County Cavan. The composition was claimed by Joe Reavy as a composition of his County Cavan/Philadelphia fiddle player and composer father Ed Reavy (1898-1988), although it was recorded in 1927 as "Achonry Lasses."
