MAGPIE'S NEST, THE (Nead an pigead). Irish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB (Roche): AA'B (O'Neill/1850 & 1001): AABB (Moylan): AA'BB' (O'Neill/Krassen). The reel is melodically similar to "Speed the Plough (2)"/"Tom Billy's Reel (3)", and could be considered a variant.
