MAJOR JAMES CAMPBELL'S QUICK STEP W.F.R. Scottish, March (2/4 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Sir James Campbell (1737-1805) of Inverniel, County Argyll was an officer in the West Fencible Regiment, raised in 1778 and disbanded in 1782. He was a Member of Parliament and was knighted in 1788.
