Back to Martin's Waltz


MARTIN'S WALTZ. Old-Time, Bluegrass; Waltz. D Major ('A' part) & A Major ('B' part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AB (Frets): AA'BB' (Phillips). Named after (and composed by) bluegrass fiddler Benny Martin. The waltz has been a staple of contest fiddlers, particularly in the Midwest.
