MAYBELLE'S JIG. Canadian, Jig. Canada, Cape Breton. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCCDD'. Composed by fiddler Jerry Holland (1955-2009, Inverness, Cape Breton) in honor of pianist Maybelle Chisholm MacQueen of Margaree Forks, Cape Breton. MacQueen came from a musical family that included siblings Cameron and Margaret, and uncles Angus and Archie Neil Chisholm.
