MEMORIES OF DICK FLEMING. AKA and see "Cheviot Waltz." English, Waltz. England, Northumberland. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed by Ron Purvis. It was originally entitled "Cheviot Waltz" but was renamed to honor the late Dick Fleming (who died in 1988) at the request of the Border Strathspey and Reel Society, of which he was a prominent member.
