MISS JESSIE SCOTT. AKA – "Miss Jessy Scott's Reel." Scottish, Reel. D Major/Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB (Athole, Gatherer): AABB' (Kerr). Composed by John(ny) Pringle (born c. 1770), published in Edinburgh in his first collection, 1801. It was entered into the large 1840 music manuscript collection of multi-instrumentalist John Rook, of Wigton, Cumbria.
