MRS. FLEMING OF MONESS. AKA and see "Mrs. Stewart Fleming of Killiechassie." Scottish, Strathspey. B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCCDD. Probably composed by Neil Gow, for it appears in his Beauties of Niel Gow, published in 1819, however, the melody had appeared in earlier Gow publications (the First and Second Collections, both editions of each) without composer credit.
