AABBCCDD (Hinds, Little): AABB'CCDD' (Martin). A pipe-jig composed in the early 1950's by Scottish accordion player, piper and dance bandleader Bobby MacLeod (1925-1991) of Tobermory, Isle of Mull.
The march, one of MacLeod's most famous and popular compositions, can be used as an accompaniment for Boston or Military Two-steps, and is sometimes played as a jig.
