POLITIC. AKA and see "Nigger in the Woodpile." Old-Time, Breakdown. A cousin to "Martha Campbell (1)," notes John Hartford. The euphemistic title "Politic" was employed by John Hartford (1937-2001) for the tune originally known as "Nigger in the Woodpile."
