RANDOLPH FAREWELL. Canadian, Waltz. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Composed in 1991 by Tom Siess (London, Ontario), who, beginning in 1996, served on the CDSS Board for 12 years, six of them as President. Tom wrote the tune in honor of Jack and Genny Shimer, who spent summers at their home in Randolph, New Hampshire. Genny served as Executive Director of the CDSS. See also Siess's "Accord for Pinewoods."
