The tune was composed in 1992 by Cape Breton fiddler Brenda Stubbert in honor of Sydney's Oldies 950 "Wake up to Cape Breton," where radio host-producer Jack Alexander Bonaparte (1973-2006) played music for two hours every Sunday morning.
