GRAMS REFORMATION, THE. English, Hornpipe (cut time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The hornpipe is one of three attributed to "A.M. Hope" in the 1840 music manuscript collection of multi-instrumentalist John Rook, of Waverton, Cumbria, 1840 (p. 220). Hope may have been a local composer. The title is perhaps "Graham's Reformation." See also "North Shore (3)" and "True Blue."
