MARGARET MACDONALD'S DELIGHT. AKA - "Margaret's Delight," "Mrs. Margaret MacDonald's Delight." A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The tune is said to have been composed by Cape Breton fiddler-composer Dan R. MacDonald's grandfather, but this remains speculative. Paul Cranford [1] notes the tune is very similar to "Alexander MacDonald" (parts reversed) in Gordon MacQaurrie's Cape Breton Collection (1940).
