Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A jig for a country dance that first appeared under this title in an anonymous early 19th Northumbrian manuscript, with entries in several different hands although signed by one C.J. Surtees. It is a version of a tune also called "Hexham Quadrille," "My Wife's a Wanton Wee Thing (1)," "I'll Get Wedded in My Auld Claes," and "Bride Next."
