SCOTTY'S FAVORITE (JIG). Canadian, Jig (6/8 time). Canada, Cape Breton. E Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Named by fiddler Paddy “Scotty” LeBlanc who recorded it on his 1965 album "Fiddlin' Scotty LeBlanc" as "Scotty's Favorite." LeBlanc was of Acadien heritage, but a absorbed the Scottish fiddle tradition.
