Stillhouse Branch is the name given to a several Appalachian rivlets (there are Stillhouse Branches in southwestern Virginia near the town of Pound, in Nicholas County, West Virginia, and in Rowan County, Kentucky) but undoubtedly referred to any number of mountain streams that provided water used for distilling liquor. | ||
