MACLOD'S RANT. Scottish, Country Dance Tune (2/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. In addition to Walsh's c. 1737 and Davis's 1748 publication, the tune appears in John Johnson's Choice Collection of 200 Favourite Country Dances, vol. 5 (London, 1750), with the same spelling.
