A Dorian (Kerr, Athole): A Mixolydian (Dunlay & Greenberg). Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB (Kerr, Athole): AABCCD (Dunlay & Greenberg). The settings in Kerr and Stewart-Robertson's Athole Collection are directly from Robert Bremner's 1757 collection, though it also appears in an early printing in the Gillespie Manuscript of Perth (1768).
