NEW BRIG O' METHLICK [1], THE. Scottish, Strathspey. F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABB'. Composed by William Hardie (1787–1884), in honor of a new bridge completed in 1844 in the village of Methlick [1], Aberdeenshire, on the river Ythan. The Bridge has three spans, with the middle span constructed as a drawbridge.
