YELLOW GARRON, THE (An Garran Buide). AKA - "Gearran Buidhe (An)." Irish, Air (2/4 time, "with spirit"). A Mixolydian/D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Two setting of the air were originally published by Edward Bunting as "Gearan Budhe--Yellow Horse," and O'Neill's "Yellow Garron" is nearly exactly a copy of the second version, save that the seventh's are flat (i.e. mixolydian mode) in Bunting.
