BROSNA (SLIDE) [2], THE (An Bhrosna). AKA and see "Pádraig O'Keeffe's Favourite." Irish, Slide (12/8 time). A Mixolydian/Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune was learned by north County Kerry's Brosna Céilí Band (winners of the 1972 All-Ireland tile) from the playing of Brosna musician Jack Cahill.
