MISS KELLY'S [2]. Irish, Reel (whole time). A Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune appears in the large mid-19th century music manuscript collection of County Cork cleric and uilleann piper Canon biography:James Goodman. Hugh and Lisa Shield find the first strain of "McFadden's Handsome Daughter" to be cognate with "Miss Kelly's."
