BACACH NA CLEITHE. AKA and see "Aineen's Double," "The Cherry Grove," "Coffee and Tea" [2], "Connie the Soldier," "(An) Ghaoth Aniar Andeas" (The South-West Wind), "Jimmy the Tailor." Irish, Jig. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Although collector George Petrie (1790-18) gave D major as the key, it works well in the mixolydian mode as well. Bacah (or Bacagh) means "the lame".
