AULD STOER'S BACK AGAIN, DA. Shetland, Reel. G Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. A note in Old-lore Miscellany of Orkney, Shetland, Caithness and Sutherland (Vol. VI, Part 1, Jan., 1913, p. 6) explains that a stöer was a copper coin, a 'stiver', a penny.
