HUMOURS OF LAST NIGHT, THE. Irish, Jig (6/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABCD (Stanford/Petrie): AABBCCDD (Kennedy, O'Farrell). A four-part set, a version of "Merrily Danced the Quaker's Wife/Merrily Kissed the Quaker's Wife" or "Merrily Danced the Quaker." Printed sources: Kennedy (Fiddler's Tune-Book: Jigs & Quicksteps, Trips & Humours), 1997; No. 66, p. 17. O'Farrell (Pocket Companion, vol. 2), c. 1806; p. 117. Stanford/Petrie (Complete Collection), 1905; No. 477, p. 477.
