Recorded in the late 1920's by fiddler Charlie Bowman with the Hillbillies. Folklorist/musicologist Vance Randolph recorded the tune for the Library of Congress from Ozark Mountain fiddlers in the early 1940's. The tune is similar to the old-time standard "Ragtime Annie."
