BUNDORAN HIGHLAND, THE. AKA and see "Loudon's/Louden's Bonnie Woods (and Braes)." Irish, Highland. Ireland, County Donegal. Popular in southern Donegal, particularly from the playing of Paddy Kelly. Donegal fiddler Danny O'Donnell recorded the tune in the 78 RPM era, second in a set of three Highlands (with "Polly Put the Kettle On [1]" and "Niel Gow's Wife [1]"). He called the set "The Thistle and Shamrock."
