Back to Farewell to the Dene


FAREWELL TO THE DENE. English, Schottische or Barn Dance. England, Northumberland. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A 20th century composition by fiddler Willie Taylor, well-known among Northumbrian musicians. The tune is named for Taylor's farmhouse.
