LARRY O'NIEL'S CLOG. American, Clog. A major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. It is perhaps telling that Francis O'Neill did not pick up this tune, which appears to be a latter 19th century stage clog dance tune, for his Music in Ireland (1903). O'Neill knew 'Ryans Mammoth' well, and took many other tunes from it. He presumably did not conceive that this tune had an Irish provenance.
