COONEY IN THE STUBBLE FIELD. Old-Time, Breakdown. USA, southwestern Pa. E Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Bayard (1981) identifies this as a composite tune with an 'A' part resembling "Sally Goodin'" and a 'B' part reminiscent of "Turkey in the Straw."
