CONNAUGHTMAN [1], THE (Fear Conactac). Irish, Jig. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Connaught was one of the five old provinces of Ireland (along with Ulster, Leinster, Meath, and Munster), named for the ancient tribe who lived there, the Connachta.
