Back to Liverpool Hornpipe (2)
LIVERPOOL HORNPIPE [2]. American, Hornpipe. USA, southwestern Pa. C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Unrelated to "Liverpool Hornpipe (1)". Uncertain British/Irish provenance. Bayard (1981) notes that related tunes can be foun in Ryan's Mammoth (1883) as "Dundee Hornpipe," and in Feldman & O'Doherty's Northern Fiddler (p. 245) as "Kildare Fancy."
