Source for notated version: fiddler Tommy Peoples (Donegal, Ireland) [Breathnach]; recorded in Ballydesmond, February, 1973, from the playing of accordion player Johnny O'Leary (Sliabh Luachra) who associates the tune with box-player John Brosnan [Moylan]; Planxty [Sullivan]; fiddler Sean McGuire [Bulmer & Sharpley]; New Jersey flute player Mike Rafferty, born in Ballinakill, Co. Galway, in 1926 [Harker].
