Not strictly related to the usual English "Cuckoo's Nest" tunes, although are more than general similarities with Cuckoo's Nest (3) (The)." Mellor (1935) finds a similar variant in Bennett's Lays of My Land. The tune appears in the publication Cambrian Trifles (1812).
