According to Máire O'Keefe, this tune was a great favorite of Kerry fiddler Denis Murphy's and was recorded from him by Séamus Ennis on January 29th, 1949, and subsequently included in the RTÉ publication "Denis Murphy, Music from Sliabh Luachra."
