Composed by London-based flute player Paddy Taylor (1912-1976, originally from County Limerick), named for his daughter. Similarities (especially in the first part) with flute player Josie McDermott's "Lansdowne Lass (The)," and with "Slate Roof (The)" in Martin Mulvihill's 1986 1st Collection. The melody appears in Bulmer and Sharpley's Music from Ireland, vol.
