CROPPIE'S STRATHSPEY. AKA and see "Mr. Douglas of Springwood Park." Scottish, Strathspey. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB (Hunter): AA'B (Milne). The tune has been attributed to Peter Milne (1824-1907), a mentor and sometimes playing partner of J. Scott Skinner. However, there is some evidence it was actually composed by Alexander Givan of Kelso.
