LOCH MAREE. Scottish, Retreat March (3/4 time). A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. Composed by Pipe Major G.S. McLellan [1] (1884-1929).
Large (12 mi.) Loch Maree lies in Wester Ross in the Northwest Highlands of Scotland, and is often referred to as the most beautiful loch in the Highlands.
