CONSTANTINE HORNPIPE. Irish, Hornpipe (whole time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The hornpipe is contained in Canon biography:James Goodman's music manuscripts [1] (vol. 3, p. 96, c. 1860's, southeast Munster), wherein another version also appears with a cognate first strain, under the title "Man of War." See also the first strain of "Billy Taylor's Hornpipe." Yet another version appears in CRÉ V under the title "Micky Connell's Hornpipe."
